- Introduce KAIZEN Lean: its history, principles, and concepts and how it applies to the office environment
- Network with fellow participants
- Assess the benefits of a holistic KAIZEN Lean system practice
- Understand Muda (i.e. waste) within a company and its consequences
- Attend a “Muda walk” onsite at an Office/Hospitality Operations site
- Hosted Dinner (evening event)
Day II
- Debrief from “Muda walk”
- Introduce Six Levels of Efficient Office Management
- Level One – Self Organization, waste awareness
- Level Two – Co-operation, no errors or omissions
- Level Three – Process Improvement, paperless office
- Sustaining Improvement through standardization
- KAIZEN Lean organization, management and goal setting using Visual Management
- Involving People in a KAIZEN Lean process
Day III
- Six Levels of Efficient Office Management (continued)
- Level Four – Organization as a team
- Level Five – Flexible working teams, save space
- Level Six – Best in Class, achieve QCDMS targets
- Learn structured problem solving and the 7 problem solving tools
- Putting visual management and problem solving to practical use
- KAIZEN Lean and auditing/diagnosing
- Developing a KAIZEN Lean briefing process
- Identifying and counteracting “killer” phrases
- Developing personal roadmaps and projects to implement KAIZEN Lean
