Chuck has implemented Lean in both the private and public sectors and has applied Lean in healthcare (hospitals, laboratories, administration), food processors, high tech, engineering, aircraft repair, education, administration, medical equipment, distribution/logistics, manufacturing.



A Business Improvement professional for 26 years, he has an exceptional track record helping teams remove waste from processes. Chuck starts with setting the goals for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction in creating a Lean organization. With these goals in mind, he teaches the teams the correct and timely use of tools such as problem solving, process improvement, process management and six sigma implementation in a Lean environment.



He has been a manager at local, regional and national levels and has built strong, hands-on expertise in leading and training continuous improvement teams. He has special expertise working cross-functionally with teams and executives from any level. After 30 years of leading business initiatives, Chuck has observed how important Lean is in pulling all the tools together. "Lean gives organizations a coherent plan that clearly shows measurable return to the bottom line." He uses Lean as the map to guide teams in constant improvement.



Education:
Chuck trained in statistical process control at the University of Tennessee and in the design of experiments at MIT. He is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Quality Manager.
