Larry Coté

Larry is well known for his penetrating analysis and creative energy. He spent 2 years with the Lean Enterprise Institute in Boston as C.O.O./E.V.P., was Founder/President of the Lean Enterprise Institute Canada, and started Lean Advisors Inc. in 1999.
Larry has worked with hundreds of companies in many different business sectors at various stages of their Lean journeys. He is particularly skilled at working with senior executives in the boardroom to plan, problem solve and create Lean corporate strategies.
His R&D work along with his 'hands-on' experience has led to new ways to teach and communicate Lean. These methods have proven to be very successful in promoting sustainability within organizations. Larry’s expertise in implementing Toyota Production System concepts spans a couple of decades. He works with corporate leaders to develop effective plans for transforming entire organizations using Lean and adapting it to their culture.
His background includes Manufacturing, High Tech, Logistics/Distribution, Food Processing, Mining, Aerospace, Education, Health Care and Government Agencies. Larry has held senior executive positions in operations, engineering, quality and maintenance, logistics, human resources, and marketing in start-ups as well as established corporations. He is a dynamic presenter who challenges and drives organizations to performance excellence.

Larry has a graduate degree from Queen's University with Advanced Studies at Harvard, Stanford, Queens and MIT.
