Kevin Klump

Kevin has over 30 years leadership experience in parts fabrication, pharmaceutical, medical device, government regulated industries, aerospace and distribution industries. He has been involved in training development, training management, quality assurance and validation, project/process engineering, and Lean implementation at management, office and shop floor levels.

He has facilitated and mentored teams in continuous improvement using both formal and informal approaches. As accomplished trainer, Kevin is known for his ability to engage people in the problem solving process no matter what their functional level or skill set – boardroom to shop floor.

With his high tech engineering background, Kevin is particularly adept at leading groups through Problem Solving where highly complex interrelated, yet disparate, elements must be grouped and rationalized to both properly define and productively solve the issue.

Kevin has taught Change Management and Lean concepts in both train-the-trainer and implementation team modes. One of his key clients with LEADTM is Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington.

An accomplished project manager for major capital intensive and energy conservation projects, Kevin has also designed training systems, standardized test procedures, interface hardware and software, validation and quality assurance processes.

Kevin has worked with various food companies such as ConAgra to reduce cycle time, improve process flow, reduce waste and implement TPM programs. He has worked in general food processing facilities, meat processing, and bakery processes. He has also worked with the distribution processes for these companies along with improving their vendor supply chain. Kevin also has worked with the Food companies to do Value Stream Mapping through their business processes.
